The Welding QC Inspector will be responsible for executing all field welding inspections, adhering to all relevant Codes of Practice and internal company procedures.

  • Executing inspections for all materials, equipment, and construction installation activities on site
  • Maintaining all quality records and non-conformance reports, briefing the Quality Control Supervisor in accordance with internal practices as required
  • Controlling welding parameters and consumables during installation and construction activities
  • Reviewing the availability and suitability of filler material , preheating, welding, heat treatment, and the bevels
  • Evaluating all repairs made, taking corrective actions as required
  • Checking and recording pipe sequences
  • Performing Pipeline up check, ensuring that all installed pipes and fittings are to the correct specifications and that the materials are in adherence with the specified Material Traceability requirements
  • Verifying collaboration and linearity
  • Monitoring defect removal through specific NDT testing methods
  • Performing Non Destructive Test (NDT) inspections, confirming readiness of NDT equipment
  • Addressing all technical welding queries and investigations
  • Ensuring that all welding, heat treatment, hardness testing, inspection and NDT are in compliance with the relevant codes and specifications
  • Collecting certification testing, control, and inspection documents, ensuring that all welding and testing related records form a complete package
  • Ensuring the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan by Construction Contractor


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • ACWB Level II Certification is required
  • Conversant with international codes

Location: Burgas / Bulgaria

Contract duration: 12 months extendable

Rotation: 75/21
