HARD SKILL & BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE
• Be fully aware of the Project HSE requirements;
• Advanced level of speaking & writing: English;
• Specialized Knowledge of Upstream & Downstream technologies;
• Specialized Knowledge of the fertilizer technology;
• Years’ experience on the same position: at least 10 years;
• Experience on main Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up & Operation activities such as:
o Conformity checks with project drawing and specifications;
o Electrical systems protection relays settings, interlock tests and functional tests
o Electrical substations energization
o HVAC commissioning, balance tests and performance tests
o Instruments I/O checks and calibration
o DCS/ESD/F&G and communication systems functional tests
o Equipment inspection before box-up
o Equipment inspection before box-up
o Piping and equipment flushing and blowing
o Mechanical and chemical cleaning
o Rotating equipment lube oil flushing
o System de-greasing
o Lines steam blowing
o Systems high pressure leak test
o Systems inerting and drying
o Rotating equipment run-in with inert and process fluid
o Boilers boil-out
o Refractory dry-out
o Chemicals first fill
o Catalyst and molecular sieves loading
o Hydrocarbons feed-in into the plant
o Performance test run activities
o Knowledge and experience in Plant Operation

MAIN TASKS
• Supports the HSE Manager for the preparation of the HSE plan and procedures;
• Ensures that all HSE procedures required for each activity and work phases are available and are applied;
• Actively contributes to Safety Walk-downs. In case of incidents contributes to investigations;
• Participates to Pre Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR);
• Prepares the Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up Plan;
• Reviews contractual documentation and contributes to identify project risks and opportunities;
• Reviews the test run procedure and the operating manuals;
• Defines the procedure for mechanical, electrical & process isolation control;
• Defines Commissioning sequences and priorities in order to guide the project towards completion;
• Supports the project for the schedule preparation and follow-up;
• Prepares the Li censor/Vendors schedule and assignment concerning the Commissioning Start-up and Test run activities;
• Supports the project for the preparation of the subcontracting plan, prepares the technical specifications for sub-contracting the activities in its own are of responsibility;
• Issues Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up progress reports;
• Manage the Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up & Operation activities, coordinating the different parties;
• Ensures the respect of the schedule and budget, either during the home office activity, as well as in site;
• Actively participates to risk and opportunity meetings;
• Responsible for the competency assurance and development of his team;
• Participates to plant handover process which includes the preparation of the Commissioning Dossiers;
• Ensures the transferring of the lesson learned to the home office
