Mission: to provide planning and system support for routine and non-routine work activities through close liaison with the Planning Specialist, Planning Engineers, Maintenance and Operations personnel
Tasks:
– Prepares short and long term routine maintenance schedules, monitors completions of the work carried out and forecasts activities during shutdown;
– Participates in long term planning of process and off-sites and offshore major maintenance activities;
– Participates in the preparation and in the issuing of a 5 years work program;
– Defines with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering departments the shutdown work scope;
– Ensures that all preventive and maintenance, inspection, re-certification, repair, overhaul and modifications’ requirements are included in such scope of works;
– Prepares with the Operations Group a shutdown logic showing clear sequence of various activities from train shutdown to LNG production and/or production shutdown to start-up;
– Prepares implementation programs using “PERT” planning techniques; the “PERT” program will show clear critical paths;
– Defines maintenance activities by defining also the manpower and logistic requirements;
– Assists in the preparation of the tender documents, including detailed scope of work for various services, primarily providing a plan from which the Bids can be defined;
– Ensures coordination between various divisions, sections and disciplines during the overhaul or shutdown execution;
– Prepares comprehensive shutdown reports for evaluation and future reference;
– Administration of Primavera P3 including consistency of the database structure;
– Provides Primavera P3 training, if required;

Knowledge skills and experience:
– Minimum secondary school education plus a three to five years vocational credential (HNC, HND, or equivalent)
– Minimum 8 years of experience as Technical Planner and scheduler for activities associated with maintenance, production and materials management in oil & gas facilities;
– Computer skills – working knowledge of a variety of technical planning software, maintenance management and materials management; SAP and Primavera P3 knowledge will be preferred;
– Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems, performance measures and their applications;
– Excellent written and spoken English communication skills;
– Good leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team member;
– Adaptability to multinational environment, with exposure to multiple cultures and customs.
