•responsible for the accurate preparation and planning of all Site Maintenance activities.
•responsible for the accurate planning of all Site inspection activities.
•ensures all Works are resourced for requirements (e.g. Services, Permits, Tools, Materials, Vendors, Procedures, Drawings, etc…..) to ensure the Disciplines have all necessary items to execute each activity without delay.
•ensures accurate and timely supply and return of Materials for use and subsequent repair, with close liaison with onshore Technical Methods team.
•ensures an accurate planning function exists on the FPSO.
•ensures that maintenance operations are prepared in strict accordance with current safety rules and operating procedures and in accordance with standard industry practice.

•prepares on site the maintenance and inspection operations within CMIMS (AMOS),
•plans maintenance and inspection operations (routine and short-term) taking into account the spare parts and resources.
•anticipates, plans and requests the logistical means necessary for smooth maintenance operations, taking the various constraints into account when planning and carrying out operations
•ensures that HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,
•prepares all interventions using the CMIMS and Resourcing Team under his responsibility,
•manages and executes all FPSO site local planning requirements,
•provides direct co-ordination of Preventative Maintenance and Inspection activity with the Onshore Technical Methods team and specifically the Onshore Planning Engineer.
•organizes the Delivery and movement of spare parts according to the requirements of maintenance operations,
•takes part in daily, weekly and co-ordination meetings on site,
•coordinates the management and update of CMIMS master-data with onshore Methods team and Onshore Planning Engineer,
•ensures the Accurate and timely closeout of all CMIMS Work Orders and ensures accurate and adequate history in the activity reports.

•identifies, in the preparatory stage of maintenance and inspection works, any delicate operations and ensures that proper studies of the risks involved are carried out beforehand,
•ensures all Work (Preventative or Corrective) is accurately resourced and that all materials and services are provided to the site and work location.
•ensures all Permit requirements are generated and available for the planned activities. (i.e. Both Preventative and Corrective)
•keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs and, if need be, suggests improvements,
•warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts,
•keeps track of any backlog of work in his area of responsibility and suggests corrective measures to the Maintenance Superintendent if this backlog threatens to become unmanageable,
•develops and provides all short term planning for the FPSO activities.
•provides any ad-hoc reports from CMIMS.
•ensures through the use of CMIMS and his team the co-ordination, mobilization and planning of all required Vendors (e.g. Contractors own subcontractors or SMC’s)

•verifies the quality of his planning by frequent checks of supervisor reports in CMIMS,
•ensures all work loading per discipline are balanced and achievable and highlights immediately any workload which is not achievable with the resources provided on board.
•ensures all Work Orders and Notifications are assessed accurately at the Daily Co-ordination meeting and given the correct prioritization. This prioritization applied should be respected in his planning and constant updates requested to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications required
The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:
•chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
•5 to 10 years’ experience in the Planning of maintenance activities on oil and gas production installations,
•a good knowledge of CMIMS (AMOS is a +).
•a basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.
•specific professional knowledge:
•ability to Coach, Mentor and advise, motivate multi-national teams,
•pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others,
•physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site,

Perfectly competent and independent in his field, he must show common sense and organisational ability.
